Lesia, tell me why you chose this particular profession?

My professional journey began over a decade ago in the banking sector in Ukraine. It was a time of deep immersion in finance, communicating with clients, building trust and gaining experience that cannot be gained from books. I have always strived for accuracy, order and analytics – and the financial industry has become the sphere where these traits are best realized.

Today, living in the UK, I continue to build my career, working in the finance department of an IT company in London. It is a completely different world – dynamic, technological, but at the same time deeply related to my previous experience. I am grateful for being able to combine my past with new opportunities.

What does your professional activity mean to you?

For me, a profession is not just a job, it is a path of development. In the financial sphere, I feel constant growth: intellectual, professional, personal. I enjoy learning new tools, improving skills and seeing how my work helps businesses grow. This gives me a sense of confidence in my choice.

Which of your professional achievements do you consider the most successful?

One of the most valuable periods in my career was working in a bank. I not only developed professional competencies, but also received real pleasure from live communication with clients, organising meetings and building trust. This experience taught me flexibility, empathy and the ability to find a common language with people. Having moved to the UK, I have retained these values ​​and continue my development, combining professional with personal growth.

Who supports and inspires you?

The unconditional answer is my family. Their support is a source of inner strength. Their faith in me is what keeps me going. Even at a distance, I always feel that I am not alone. It is my parents who help me stay true to myself, move forward and not lose the warmth in my heart.

Do you have a hobby?

Yes, in my free time I like to embroider pictures with beads. For me, it is not just a hobby, but a kind of meditation – a moment of silence, beauty and harmony. I also like to swim – the pool helps to relieve thoughts, feel the body and maintain balance between the external and internal worlds.

Your wishes to the readers.

The greatest strength is in our faith. Faith in ourselves, in our own dignity, in our uniqueness. Faith in God, who never leaves and always gives us the strength to go through even the most difficult trials. And, of course, the support of the family is the rear without which it is impossible to feel complete happiness. The family is our support, our wings. Take care of it, appreciate the moments together and do not be afraid to dream truly.
