THE ROLE

Right Digital Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive Operations Support Operative to join our busy warehouse team.

As an Operations Support Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. This includes managing stock levels, booking in deliveries, processing outbound orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment.

You’ll also support the team with customer fulfilment tasks such as assisting PDI with order preparation, using our stock system effectively and handling internal and external enquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order stock from suppliers and create purchase orders using the current stock system.
• Receive goods in, both physically and digitally, ensuring timely and accurate updates to inventory systems.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to track deliveries, resolve delays and respond to stock level queries.
• Support the booking, tracking and processing of shipments via couriers.
• Assist with the R-Parts programme, including the removal and re-fitting of spares to fulfil orders.
• Unbox, build and prepare customer hardware orders, ensuring readiness for dispatch.
• Book in used equipment and update all relevant systems and records accordingly.
• Support and participate in stock takes (regular, monthly and yearly) and flag any pricing or stock code issues for resolution.
• Maintain an organised and hazard-free workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Attend training sessions and assist with other tasks as required by the line manager.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by upholding company values and leading by example.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES DAY-TO-DAY:

Whilst performing this role the employee is occasionally exposed to or expected to:

• Lift items of varying weights daily.
• Wear the appropriate PPE daily.
• Fumes or airborne particles.
• Cleaning / workshop use of chemicals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Experience of working in a warehouse / distribution or similar environment.
• Able to use MS 365 tools, such as Outlook, Excel and MS Teams.
• FLT licence (We can provide training).
